Measure once: finding your cap size

If a wig is going back, the reason is usually fit. Not colour, not texture — fit. It's also the easiest thing to get right in advance, because unlike everything else it's just a number.

How to measure

Take a soft tape measure and run it around your head where the wig will sit: across the front hairline, above the ears, and around the nape at the back. Keep it snug but not tight. That number is your circumference.

What the number means

Most of our caps are an average size of around 22.5 inches with an adjustable strap, which covers a good range in either direction. If you sit well outside that, the strap is doing more work than it should — and that's when a wig shifts, rides up, or feels like something you're aware of all day.

Cap size is published on every product page in the specifications table, alongside lace type, density and hair origin. It's there so you can check it against your own measurement before you buy, not after.
